A historic swing bridge in Bulla has been swept away by floodwaters.

The original bridge crossing Deep Creek was built in 1854 to allow children to cross. It was used by school children until Bulla Primary School closed in 1995.

Bull resident Aaron says Deep Creek is “like a river rapid” today.
