The push for a sugar tax on soft drinks isn’t going away.

The Australian Medical Association said the evidence was clear that raising the price of soft drinks had an impact on the population purchasing them.

“These beverages have no nutritional value,” Dr Danielle McMullen, vice president of the AMA, told 3AW Drive.
