Tom Elliott has called out a new coalition of chefs, doctors, climate activists and developers over a “lie” they’re peddling about gas.

“It isn’t just misleading, it is an outright lie and it has to be addressed,” he said.

Global Cooksafe Coalition Director Laura Kelly told Tom Elliott their targets coincided with Australia’s planned transition Net Zero targets.

“It doesn’t have to happen overnight,” she said.
