A man is dead and a second man is fighting for life following a house fire in Braybrook this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports of a fire on Winjeel Court at about 8.45am.

Inside the home they found two men.

A 42-year-old man died at the scene and a 76-year-old man has been conveyed to hospital in a serious condition.

The exact circumstances surrounding the fire are yet to be determined.

The Arson Squad is investigating.
