Tom Elliott says Victorians shouldn’t be shocked by soaring gas prices.

The 3AW Drive host said it was “basic” economics.

“The reality is quite simple – we are not exploring enough for new sources of gas,” he said.

“And if you vote Labor, or the Greens – and plenty of people do – both of those parties are against gas exploration and have been for years, so they can’t complain when gas prices go up.”
