The Bureau of Meteorology says Victoria is being hit with “August” weather in early February.

Dean Narramore, senior meteorologist at the Bureau of Meterology, told Neil Mitchell the temperature was expected to drop to almost zero in some parts of the state.

“Thankfully it’s easing by Saturday night and early Sunday,” he said.
