Residents urged to shelter inside as firefighters battle blaze in Melbourne’s south-east
Dozens of firefighters are battling a large fire in a plastics factory in Melbourne’s south-east.
Fire crews were first called to the factory on Olive Grove in Keysborough at about 5.10am.
There are 40 fire trucks on the scene.
The blaze is now under control.
A watch an act message has been issued for the nearby community. Anyone within two kilometres of the fire is urged to shelter indoors immediately.
