Nine women have been left “terrified” after an alarming incident on the Murray River over the weekend.

A woman says she’s been left “terrified” after an alarming incident on the Murray River over the weekend.

The women were relaxing on their boat when they were approached by a boat full of men who wanted to get on board.

The men left and returned about half an hour later. They allegedly crashed into the boat the women were on and some of the men boarded.

“We asked them to get off, they started urinating on our stuff, they were banging on the windows trying to get in … it went for about half an hour,” Laura* told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.

“They kept coming back, they drove into the boat, there were death threats.

“It was absolutely terrifying, we were all scared for our safety.”
