Tom Elliott

Neil Mitchell has clashed with an animal advocate who has sensationally claimed there is a conspiracy to cover-up the number of kangaroos in Australia.

It comes after Nike and Puma both announced they would no longer use kangaroo leather when making their football boots. Mick McIntyre, founder of Kangaroos Alive, told 3AW Mornings the companies had woken up to the “barbaric” practices.

But things got heated when Neil Mitchell challenged him on several points, including the claim the government was “lying” about the population.
