Neil Mitchell says John Pesutto has put his Liberal Party leadership on the line by moving to expel Moira Deeming from the parliamentary party.

The 3AW Mornings host said the response to Moira Deeming’s attendance at a protest also attended by neo-Nazis had been handled “clumsily” by the state opposition leader and may now have real repercussions for his leadership.

“He is putting himself on the line here,” Neil Mitchell said on Tuesday.
