Neil Mitchell has defended his decision to interview controversial anti-transgender activist Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull on 3AW.

The 3AW Mornings host bucked the trend among mainstream media by choosing to speak with the woman also known as Posie Parker about the ugly scenes in the CBD on Saturday.

He said it was “dangerous territory” when media outlets only interviewed those they agreed with.

“I repeat – I do not agree with much of what this woman says, but I don’t regret interviewing her,” Neil Mitchell said.
