Four-day working week takes huge step in Australia

A four-day working week has been enshrined into an Australian employment contract for the first time.

Workers at Oxfam have secured an EBA that will see them work 30 hours a week, on full pay.

Campaigner Andrew Barnes told Neil Mitchell it was a very significant step.

“It’s gone from a mad idea to something that has been tested all over the world,” he said.
