What’s causing the haze across Melbourne this morning

A smoke haze over much of Melbourne this morning has led to a deterioration in air quality.
According to the EPA’s AirWatch website, air quality in much of Melbourne is rated “fair” while it is poor in several areas including Macleod, Kingsville and Kinglake.
