Councillor of the Port Phillip Council, Marcus Pearl, has thrown up an idea to honor Father Bob Maguire’s memory.

Councillor Pearl lived on the same street as Father Bob’s office, and believes renaming one of the streets in South Melbourne would be a great way to remember him by.

“What South Melbourne is today is in large part because of the work he did back then,” he told Neil Mitchell.
