Father of Paul Denyer victim reflects on parole board announcement

Tom Elliott

The father of Natalie Russell, one of the three women killed by Paul Denyer in 1993, has admitted it’s been a “constant worry” for him and his family with Denyer’s eligibility for parole.

The serial killer, however, had his parole denied yesterday with Brian Russell stating it’s a “great result” for his family, but wants to make sure there is no possibility for parole in the future.

“What he did to us and the other families, there was no fairness in that,” Mr Russell told Neil Mitchell.
