Baby boomers currently face a dilemma in the housing market, with a lack of apartments and townhouses stopping boomers from downsizing and freeing up large homes.

Director in Charter Keck Cramer’s Research & Strategy Department, Richard Temlett, also believes millennials are in a similar predicament, and has called on “all levels of government” to be more aware of the situation at hand.

“All levels of government just need to be aware that this is actually happening,” Mr Temlett told Ross and Russel.
