Essendon Football Club is mulling a major rebrand, with the club reportedly considering removing the bomber aircraft from its logo.

Creative director at R-Co Brand Agency, Richard Henderson, says he’s an advocate for the change, but it’ll be “a really contentious issue”.

“What does a bomber … or a fighter aeroplane got to do with where we want to go in society? I don’t think it’s appropriate,” he told Ross and Russel.
