The increasing push to legalise cannabis in three Australian states

Legislation is set to be introduced into the upper house of state parliament, seeking the legalisation of cannabis for personal use.

Legalise Cannabis will bring in the bills simultaneously in Victoria, NSW and Western Australia, allowing for adults to legally possess small quantities and grow up to six plants, but the bills are likely to fail without the support of the major parties.

Legalise Cannabis Victoria MP David Ettershank has told Neil Mitchell it would be a three stage process.
