Almost two years on since its closure, the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel might soon be purchased by a mystery buyer having their eyes on the former tourist attraction.

The president of the Dockland Chamber of Commerce, Daniel Hibberd, says the wheel is an iconic part of Docklands.

“Coming across the Bolte without it lit up is not the same I think and businesses would love to see it back in action,” he told Shane McInnes, filling in for Tom Elliott.
