‘Out of control’: Concerns banning vapes will have unwanted consequences

There are concerns a ban of selling vape products to those without a prescription won’t stop a black market from appearing with a MP saying he’s already seen it in action.

MP for the South Eastern Metropolitan Region, David Limbrick, says the vape market is controlled by organised crime.

“The way out of this and the way to get vapes out of the hands of children is to have a legal regulated market for adults … it’s gotten out of control and the black market is only going to get worse,” he told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
