Police are appealing for information after a 16-year old girl was the victim of a hit-run in Roxburgh Park over the weekend.

Merri-bek Crime Investigation Unit detective senior constable, Alexandra Adler, says it appears a black Volvo deliberately drove into the teenager.

“It stopped in the bus terminal and as the young girl crosses the road, it accelerates – swerves towards her and runs her over … from the CCTV, it does look quite deliberate,” she told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.
