A new register called BetStop is set to launch in August, which will allow gamblers to ban themselves from gambling from a minimum of three months to a maximum of life.

CEO of Responsible Wagering Australia, Kai Cantwell, has welcomed the announcement of BetStop.

“We’ve been working with the government and championing the introduction of BetStop for the last few years,” Mr Cantwell told Ross and Russel.
