Fiona Macdonald and her best friend Kylie Thynne have set out in a Mazda 5 to drive across Australia in order to raise awareness of MND.

Kylie says they headed out late last week and hope to complete the trip within 38 days.

“The aim is to draw awareness to MND … but to also raise funds for professor Rowe who works at Macquarie University, he’s starting a new trial and he needs $2 million, so Fiona thought ‘lets try to raise $100,000 for that,” she told Neil Mitchell.
