A historic strike in Hollywood has seen major Australian productions grind to a halt.

The US Screen Actors Guild declared a strike on Friday, joining writers who have been on strike since May.

Entertainment guru Peter Ford says the impact has “already hit” Australia with “the biggest TV show ever shot in the country … taken away from us”.
