Victorian Opposition Leader John Pesutto says the Andrews government’s decision to scrap the 2026 Commonwealth Games is “a real debacle”.
He says Victoria’s reputation as a major events capital “has been trashed”.
“Today’s announcement … is an utter humiliation,” Mr Pesutto told Neil Mitchell.
