Parents and officials have expressed outrage and concern at shops openly selling vapes alongside products marketed towards children.

Director of prevention at the Cancer Council, Craig Sinclair, says this is happening all over Victoria.

“Unfortunately, there are too many retailers who are prepared to sell these e-cigarettes to young children and that’s clearly illegal,” he told Jacqui Felgate.

Brighton resident, Anne says, she was shocked to see a candy store in Brighton selling vapes.

“It was the most bizarre thing to see something that was obviously just trying to lure children in,” she said.
