The police officer leading the investigation into the Glen Huntly incident that left a 14-year-old boy seriously injured says it’s “sickening” and more victims have come forward.

The boy was allegedly abducted and fell from a moving vehicle, while several other students were threatened with machetes and robbed.

Investigation manager, southern division Victoria Police, Inspector Scott Dwyer, says more teen victims from Glen Eira College, who were also targeted on Monday, have since come forward.

“There’s been some silent victims, they’ve suffered … but they’ve not reported it to their parents or police,” he told Neil Mitchell.

“We had a couple come forward yesterday.”

Inspector Dwyer says the 14-year-old boy who fell from a moving vehicle has “life-altering” injuries and police have stepped up patrols outside schools in the Glen Huntly area.
