Tom Elliott has taken aim at Victorian politicians who have spent tens of thousands of taxpayer money to stay in hotels instead of going home after work.

“You only have to have your house 28 kilometres away from the Parliament House in Spring Street to be allowed to do it …  in the past year … $52,000 worth of travel expenses has been paid to Victorians MPs,” he said.
