As the weather starts to get warmer in Victoria, snake season is heating back up again.

Victoria is home to five of the most deadly snakes in the world so knowing how to act around them is crucial.

The Geelong Snake Catcher Darren Keiller — who was  bitten by a tiger snake and spent 13 days in the ICU — explained what needs to be done if you are bitten.

“It’s safe to every snake you see, you approach with caution,” he told Neil Mitchell.
