Victoria’s Minister for Planning Sonya Kilkenny says while the Andrews government’s housing plan is “ambitious”, it’s what’s required to cope with the state’s housing crisis.

“There is no bigger issue facing Victorians than housing right now,” she told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Tom Elliott.

Ms Kilkenny also addressed concerns over planning reforms and how residents and councils will be able to object to proposed developments.
