State Labor’s former deputy campaign director has shared how Daniel Andrews managed to win three terms in the top role.

Director, Red Bridge Group Australia, Kos Samaras says the newly resigned Premier knew how to win campaigns from previous experience in campaigns.

“[He knew] how to build electoral coalitions and knew how to communicate with a growing number of Victorians who generally don’t engage in politics in the way they used to,” he told Neil Mitchell.

Mr Samaras also discussed the growing number of Victorian’s who have never voted for the Liberal party.

“When there’s this talk around ‘Oh, we need to get’ – we being the Liberal party – ‘need to win these people back’, but they never had them,” he said.
