Jacinta Allan has officially taken over the role of Premier after being selected by the Labor caucus, but questions have been raised about if she needs to distance herself from Daniel Andrews.

Senior lecturer in Politics at Monash University, Dr Zareh Ghazarian, says its a good point.

“It goes to the heart of the Dan Andrews Premiership, where really, he was a polarising figure,” he told Tom Elliott.
