Things are looking positive in the Gippsland region impacted by the bushfires as rain falls on the fire grounds.

CFA deputy chief officer, Gary Cook says the Loch Sport area is down to advice.

“We’ve still got watch and acts up around the Briagolong area, to the east of that, there’s rainfall in that area, we’re just making sure that’s safe,” he told Tom Elliott.
