Neil Mitchell has clashed with a man who was born in Gaza, and is on a hunger strike to protest the conflict occurring over in the Middle East at the moment.

Riyad is on the 11th day of his hunger strike, and claimed he is protesting not against Hamas, but against the displacement and killing of Palestinians, a comment Neil Mitchell believes “needs to be challenged”.

“No I don’t need to listen to you, I’m attempting to interview you!” the 3AW Mornings host said to Riyad.
