Up to $2,500 worth of items purchased with stolen credit cards across Melbourne

Police are appealing for information from the public to identify a thief who purchased up to $2,500 worth of items using stolen credit cards across Melbourne.

Police believe an unknown man stole two credit cards from two separate vehicles in the Camberwell area between Friday October 27 and Monday October 30.

The stolen cards were then believed to be used to purchase items in suburbs such as Camberwell, Hawthorn, Ashwood, Templestowe, Collingwood, Richmond, Murrumbeena, and Cremorne.

The alleged offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, and aged in his 30s with a beard and ponytail.
