Australia ‘falling apart’ amid constant Qantas problems

Jacqui Felgate

Australia is “falling apart” if passengers can’t rely on a flight from Qantas Melbourne to Sydney running on time, according to Tom Elliott.

Tom’s comments come after his wife Elise’s flight to Sydney on Tuesday was cancelled, resulting in a delay for over an hour.

“It is not good enough,” he said on 3AW Drive.

“Melbourne to Sydney used to be so reliable. If you missed a plane, they’d be another one in 15 minutes.

“Qantas is doing a terrible job. If someone cannot reliably fly to and from Melbourne to Sydney in a day, then Australia is clearly falling apart.”
