‘I don’t accept that it’s hate’: Leading Palestinian spokesperson defends school strike

Tom Elliott

President of the Australia Palestine Advocacy Network, Nasser Mashni, has defended today’s school strike for Palestine in the city, telling Neil Mitchell he doesn’t accept that the strike is fueling “hate”.

Mashni claimed his daughter will participate in the strike today, stating it is a completely student-led initiative.

“Strikes are a very powerful tool and should be encouraged in a democracy,” Mashni told Neil Mitchell.
