We’re still not quite sure.

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle dropped a bit of a surprise on Thursday when he casually said parking inspectors wouldn’t be out and about on Anzac Day.

‘We won’t having parking inspectors out on Anzac Day,’ the Lord Mayor clearly said.

Tony Jones: ‘You won’t!?’

But then he tinkered with his message.

‘We will have them, but it won’t be for the normal compliance regime, it’ll be for people who park on nature strips, or block driveways,’ Cr Doyle said.
