Cameron Polson set for Carlton debut
Cameron Polson will debut for Carlton on Friday night, as revealed by Mitch Cleary on Sportsday.
Polson, taken with pick 59 in last year’s draft, has been knocking on the door of senior selection early in the season, with coach Brendon Bolton confirming his selection on Thursday.
He’ll become the Blues’ sixth first-gamer this season.
‘He’s a small forward from the Sandringham Dragons,’ Cleary said on Sportsday.
Matthew Kreuzer and Dale Thomas won’t play against Port Adelaide.
Cleary also had some interesting news on the umpires’ bargaining agreement with the AFL.
He said they’ve been offered less money, which hasn’t gone down well.
