A horror rental property in an inner-city Melbourne suburb has been exposed by a popular TikTok account.

The property in Thornbury was featured in the recent video, highlighting a collapsed ceiling and an air-conditioning unit being supported by another ceiling in the living room.

Rental advocate Jordie Van den Berg – and owner of the viral TikTok account which exposed the property, said it was a “pretty confronting” scene when he entered the house.

“(The state of the house) is a bit on the nose I reckon,” he told 3AW Drive.
