A 23-year-old man has been charged, after allegedly scaling Flinders Street Station and causing extensive damage on January 12, not only to the station but several other parts of Melbourne.

Police allege the West Footscray man caused a total of $200,000 in damages.

Officers searched addresses in West Footscray and Caulfield North and seized spray cans, knuckle-dusters and a samurai sword.
