Renewed calls to move major transmission lines underground after massive storm event

There’s been renewed calls to move major transmission lines underground after wild storms cut electricity to over half a million Victorians.

Energy Specialist from St Vincent de Paul, Gavin Dufty, says Victorians might not have lost power if they had been moved underground.

“But the regulatory framework actually acts as a bit of a barrier for that to happen,” he told Tom Elliott.
