An emergency evacuation warning has been issued for Bayindeen, Chute, Elmhurst, Mount Lonarch and surrounds.

There is a bushfire at Bayindeen, Chute, Elmhurst and Mount Lonarch which is now heading towards Elmhurst and Ampitheatre. It initially was travelling in a south-westerly direction, but a wind change has caused the fire to move in a north-easterly direction.

Leaving immediately is the safest option.
