Tom Elliott has delivered a blunt message towards Premier Jacinta Allan in relation to the construction of the Suburban Rail Loop.

The 3AW Mornings host has been concerned for quite some time, fearing the costs for the project could blow out to $200 billion, and the parliamentary budget office has now forecasted the project to cost Victorian taxpayers $216 billion.

“I thought $200 billion was the maximum this potential white elephant might cost, it turns out I was wrong,” Elliott said.
