RUMOUR CONFIRMED

An owner of a popular pizza van says he lost multiple days of trade after the local council lost the keys to a boom gate.

Sal, who owns Pumpin’ Pizza in Doreen, explained what happened after the unfortunate event was first raised on the rumour file earlier on Friday.

“It’s 100 per cent true,” he told 3AW Breakfast.

“I had customers waiting in the car park…I was on the phone to the council and no one could find the keys for the last few days.”
