Entertainment reporter Pete Ford says there’s another side to Alec Baldwin’s run-in with a protestor at a coffee shop in New York.

Baldwin was filmed slapping a phone out of a woman’s hand in a now much-publicised incident, but Pete Ford says it came after the actor was constantly berated.

“She’s a performance artist and that says it all,” he told Ross and Russ on 3AW Breakfast.

“He was accosted in a coffee and demanded he say things…then eventually he snapped.”
