Hard-hitting columnist Miranda Devine is filling in for Steve Price as host of 3AW Nights while he’s in Africa.

And it’s fair to say she got off to a tense start with 3AW Nights regular Andrew Bolt.

The conservative columnists had a heated clash on Monday night over Malcolm Turnbull’s future as Prime Minister, so much so that Bolt at one point threatened to hang up the phone.

‘If it’s your show, then how about you do it without me?’ Bolt quipped during the heated exchange.
