Victoria Police at a neighbourhood crime forum have warned residents to put Apple Airtags in their car.

Victorian shadow treasurer, who also attended the forum, Brad Rowswell, says his office has been inundated with residents saying they aren’t safe in their own homes.

“Police have said … you can replace a car, but you can’t replace a life, and I get that … But that’s a decision we have to make in Victoria at the moment,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
