A Bedouin Muslim police officer who saved hundreds of lives at the Nova Music Festival on October 7 wants the world to know just how multicultural Israel is.

Remo Salman El-Hozayel rushed to the scene of the Hamas terror attack and one of the first responders on one of the darkest days in Israeli history.

Currently on a speaking tour in Australia, he told Tom Elliott there was a common misconception that only Jewish people live in Israel.

“You have to understand there’s a mix of people in Israel from all over the world,” he said on 3AW Mornings.

“People think only Jews live in Israel, this isn’t true. You have 2.5m Muslims and Christian living together, working together and having fun together.”
