A clock tower at Flinders Street station was defaced on Wednesday.

A photo sent to 3AW Mornings shows a clock face sprayed with graffiti, with other parts of the tower also vandalised.

Victoria Police said the “extensive damage” would result in a “significant clean-up bill”.

The iconic station has been the subject of graffiti on multiple occasions this year.
